About the Course
Some of my earliest memories of learning come not from books, but from plants.
I left home at 19 and began travelling, discovering quickly that wherever you go in the world, people come and go — but plants remain. They wait at the edges of forests, along roadsides, in tidal zones and gardens, offering medicine, guidance, and quiet companionship to those who learn how to see them.
Those early journeys shaped the way I work today. From time spent in and out of clinic supporting people through infectious disease, to more recent travels across the seas to India, Thailand, Cambodia and Taiwan, I’ve witnessed again and again how deeply medicinal plants are woven into culture, healing, and daily life.
It’s this living knowledge — both ancient and evolving — that I want to pass on.
