Well Women Retreats explore skin, hormone balancing, the gut microbiome, the vagus nerve as well as making herbal tonics and mocktails, preparing plant based foods that support the unique needs of a women & tips on how to incorporate what you have learnt into your life.

The retreat starts at 2.00pm on Friday and finishes at 4.00pm Sunday  

Residential Course Cost £445

Each weekend is held at Greencuisine Trust in Lewes, E Sussex, and starts with a massage on Friday afternoon and finishes on Sunday at 3.30pm

The rate of £445 includes all food & refreshments, simple farmhouse accommodation, massage, movement sessions, recipes and handouts.

Non-residential Cost £345

The weekend starts with a relaxing massage on Friday afternoon (time of massage determines time of arrival though you are welcome to arrive any time after 2) followed by supper and finishes at 3.00pm on Sunday. Please wear loose, comfortable clothing and bring an apron with you.

Julia Behrens is a qualifed practitioner in Herbal Medicine with an honours degree from the College of Phyto-therapy. Julia has taught at the School of Herbal Medicine, lectured at East London and Westminster University, consulted for the WWF and Neal’s Yard, appeared on TV and runs a range of courses in Herbal Medicine. Julia works alongside GP’s and is currently practicing at the Herstmonceux Health Centre and at the Albion Clinic in Brighton. 

Daphne Lambert is the founding member of Greencuisine Trust and works as an educator within the charity. She was the chef & co-owner of the first certified organic restaurant and eco hotel. She qualifed as a nutritionist from the School of Medicinal Nutrition in 1990 and has run a consultancy practice for over 25 years working with schools, colleges and organisations looking at ways to nourish well being.
